Long Term Rentals in Estepona

Estepona is a pretty seaside town close to Sotogrande and within easy reach of Gibraltar. It has a laid-back, traditional feel, with lovely plazas, wide streets and lots of Spanish charm. The beaches are excellent and there’s a long, paved promenade lined with beach bars and restaurants and playgrounds for the kids.

For the long-term resident there are many amenities on your doorstep including unusual shops and boutiques and a huge Carrefour supermarket where you can buy lots of international brands at reasonable prices. There are also a wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants throughout the town.

For families with children there are a number of options including a local bilingual kindergarten, Sotogrande International School, Bede’s Grammar School and the Mayfair Academy all within easy reach. They have just opened the private Hospital Hospitén Estepona and there are also two public health centres in the town.

Nature lovers can walk, cycle or ride in the nearby nature parks. The Pedregales Park in the Sierra Bermeja mountains is a particularly beautiful place to visit. You can see wild animals at Selwo Adventure Park, or visit the School of Equestrian Art for riding lessons or see their weekly show.

There is a large marina close to the centre which is a great place to take a walk, admire the boats and enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants. There’s also a fishing port nearby where you can buy the freshest fish to take back home, or have it cooked for you in the port’s restaurant.
