Riviera del Sol is part of the popular ex-pat region of Mijas Costa and Mijas Pueblo. It is located close to the large community of Calahonda and is a peaceful residential area. Riviera del Sol is popular with tourists and residents for its beaches, bars, restaurants and easy links to Fuengirola and Marbella with their excellent facilities.

Riviera itself is small, but has a commercial centre, as well as shops, bars and restaurants along the main street. The popular OpenCor supermarket is open 7 days a week – a rarity in Spain! There is also a good restaurant-bar-nightclub called Max Beach which is a fun night out.

Riviera is well placed for access to the best schools, medical care, leisure facilities and amenities in the area. It’s close to a wide range of Spanish and International educational facilities, and just ten minutes drive away from the modern Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella with many other local health centres within easy reach.
