Cabopino is a pretty area, famous for its bijou marina and beautiful beach. Located between Marbella and Malaga, it’s just 35 minutes from Malaga airport and close to the vibrant ex-pat community in Calahonda. The beach is a sandy, sheltered cove with calm water for swimming. There’s also a long stretch of beach running all the way to Calahonda which is a pleasant half hour walk, and has a nudist beach to the other side. In summer, boat trips along the coast and dolphin watching excursions leave from Cabopino port.

Golfers can play on the nearby courses at the Artola Hotel, Cabopino Golf or La Siesta in Calahonda. Fishing is popular off the harbour wall and there is also tennis and squash at the popular Club del Sol in nearby Calahonda, which also has a fully fitted gym.
