If you’re new to renting on the Costa del Sol there can be a sense that summer is over when the mass of tourists head back at the end of August, but in fact there’s still plenty of fun to be had and best of all you don’t have to share it with the masses!
There’s a whole month of beach club fun, plus the closing parties right at the end of September. Nikki Beach in Elviria has its legendary Red Party on the 29th September, the day after Ocean Club closes its doors with a bang. Great attractions such as the Aqua Park in Mijas is open until the 26th September and the beaches are still perfect for sunbathing and swimming but without the crowds.
The residents who headed out of town for those crazy summer months return to the scene, working life returns to normal and yet the beach bars are still open and buzzing. Networking events start again which are a great way to get to know people and promote your business and other things like kids’ swimming classes, mother and babies groups and language classes resume once the schools go back.
The Costa del Sol long term rentals market also enters a new phase as owners who may have been focussed on the holiday rentals peak look for long term tenants, so if you couldn’t find the right property from May onwards take another look – you might be surprised what’s available now.
We love September – let us know if you do too!
