The Costa del Sol is well known for its fantastic cuisine and particularly the very fresh and reasonably priced fish and seafood which you can buy in the markets, supermarkets and of course in the hundreds of specialist restaurants. A popular afternoon out for many Spanish families is going to a “chiringuito” or beach restaurant, where fish dishes are the specialty and if you’re renting on the Costa del Sol knowing the right Spanish phrases can really help you to make the most out of these great places.
